Christmas Tree Drop Off

Residents may drop off christmas trees at various "Tree Drop" locations throughout theTownship (see 2011
Refuse/Recycling Calendar for details) now until January 28th 2011. Wood Chips from these trees will be available on a first call basis.

ATTENTION:

The Township of Cumru Yard Waste Facility will have reduced hours of operation during the winter months. During the months of January-March the facility will be open for two hours from 10:00am-12:00pm, this is to adjust accordingly to a projected decline in use during these months.

Yard waste will not be accepted on any other day

Fines of up to $300 will be issued for illegal dumping. Open ONLY to residents of Cumru, identification will be required! No commercial vehicles are allowed. The site will be patrolled by police and is under video surveillance.


The following items will be accepted:

-Leaves
-Garden Debris
-Brush and Bushes
-Tree Trimmings
-Weeds
-Flowers and Garden Plants
-Kraft Paper Bags


The following items will be NOT accepted:

-Stumps
-Grass
-Plastic Bags
-Root Balls
-Treated or Painted Wood
-Railroad Ties
-Tree Branches larger than 5 feet long & 6 inches in diameter
-Glass
-Trash
