| Park & Recreation Board and Shade Tree Commission
The Township of Cumru Park and Recreation Board and Shade Tree Commission consists of seven members. Members are appointed by the Board of Commissioners to serve 5 year terms. The Commission:

- Oversees the scheduling, staffing, and use of the township parks.

|
- Recommends to the Board of Commissioners capital improvement projects relevant to parks and recreation.
|
|
|
- Prepares the open space and recreation plan for the township to be adopted by the Board of Commissioners.
|
|
|
- Reviews and makes recommendations on land development and subdivision plans with respect to recreation requirements.
|
The Commission meets the 1st Wednesday of the month at 5:00 P.M.
|
