| Competitive Pick-Up Volleyball Games

Description:
This summer throughout the months of June, July, and August we will be hosting a weekly "competitive" pick-up volleyball night at the Warren Recreation Facility located at the intersection of Welsh and Church Roads. The games will be held Tuesday nights at 6:00pm, starting May 22, 2012. Volleyballs and water will be provided.

Summer Basketball League
Description:
June through August we will be hosting a competitive men's (and possibly women's if there is enough interest) 5 vs. 5 basketball league on Sunday afternoons at the Warren Recreation Center and Pennwyn Place Courts (Indoor facilities may be available for rainy days). The season will run 8 games, with the top for teams making the playoffs. The cost will be $250/team(10 players) and we can place individuals on a team if you cannot fill a roster. The cost will cover 2 referees for each game, gatorade and water for each game, t-shirts for every player, administrative costs, and trophies/prizes for our top 3 teams.
Details:
Games will be 40 minutes (two 20 minute running halves) with substitutions allowed during dead balls. Each team will receive two 30 second time outs a half. The clock will only stop during time outs and during the last 2 minutes of each half if the score is within a 10 point margin. Fouls will be tracked with the bonus and double bonus at 7 and 10 fouls. Technical fouls will result in 2 points for the opposition and the ball.
